I had a job interview here today. Very cool.

I’ve been dreaming about devouring me some tiramisu lately, especially after seeing this recipe for eggless tiramisu last week. Knowing that I’m totally capable of putting away a vat of any dessert on my own, I decided to throw a little dinner party tomorrow night for a few friends, D, and myself, so I could debut the tiramisu and guarantee that a portion would be eaten by others (I’m also trying the fetucinni with creamy red pepper sauce recipe). After scouring Harris Teeter during my shopping trip last night, I was disappointed to find out that ladyfingers were nowhere to be found. So what do I go and do? Yep, I made my own after adapting the first recipe on this website (it was missing a step, so I sifted the flour and baking soda together and added it to the egg yolk mixture before folding in the beaten egg whites). The end product isn’t perfect, but at least they’ll do the trick.

Recipe for a Friday night at home

Ingredients

1 jar Tostitos Salsa con Queso
1 jar Trader Joes Salsa Authentica
1 cup Trader Joes Lite Mexican Shredded Cheese
1 bag Tostitos Scoops
12 pack of Yuengling Traditional Lager
DVDs
Good Friends

Preparation

Microwave the first three ingredients until melty.

Have friends eat the dip, drink the beer, and watch the DVDs.
